ステーショナリーショップ準備中2011/02/01

おおかげさまでgenro&cafeは連日大勢のお客様にお越しいただいています。

そのためステーショナリー販売のご対応が難しくなり、一時期は２Fにその販売コーナーを設けました。

しかしご年配のお客様や、お子様連れのお客さまにも２Fまでお越しいただかねばならず、混み合う１Fのcafeを通らねばならないなどの不都合がございました。

そこで、cafeから徒歩１分ほどのところに小さなステーショナリーショップを開店する準備をしております。

開店後はぜひご利用下さいませ。

Green Style Japan2011/01/12

きのうの休業日のgenro&cafeでは、国際テレビ放送NHK warldの番組「Green Style Japan」の撮影が終日行われました。

「Green Style Japan」は外国人２名の対談を通じて、日本の伝統的な暮らしのエコな側面を紹介する番組。

国内では放映されませんが、You Tubeで見ることができるようです。

番組最後には撮影場所genro&cafeのクレジットも出るとのこと。

Chiba-san, your photo is like a haiku - thank you.

It does good to remember the visit at Genro.

I shall be back in touch in spring time, when nature takes on a soft green
dress.

Chiba-san, would you eventually be interested to sell your paper products on
a small scale in Switzerland? One of my clients, a small book shop, asked me
for very special Japanese stationery products. And then of course I thought
of you. You do not need to give an answer right now - just take your time.

Dear Ms. Lisbeth

Happy new year !

Thank you for your message and a beautiful snow photo from Geneva.

It is like a dream to me that you visited genro & cafe in Kami-igusa
and exchanging emails like this.

I'm sorry for late reply as our business is being busy around this season.
It also took a time to find a scene that is worthy of those who live
in beautiful country, Switzerland.

Let me show you a photo of a beautiful "Ke-ya-ki" (zelkova) tree
nearby our cafe.
"Ke-ya-ki" trees should be the symbol of "Musashi-no".

("Musashi-no" means the tablelands in "Musashi".
"Musashi" is the historical name of the western area in Tokyo where
Kami-igusa is placed.)

May this year be happy and fruitful.

I'm looking forward to your report of Switzerland in spring.
